Stellantis seeks a Vehicle Access Validation Lead to validate Vehicle Access components based on EE and Access test plans and procedures. The role oversees a team of Test & Validation engineers across metro Detroit and India, coordinating with suppliers and feature owners to ensure defects are eliminated and tests are robust.

Responsibilities include developing core electrical test documents, improving test plans, and collaborating with regulatory bodies to maintain global compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in electrical systems design, development, or test engineering.
• Experience with DFMEA and DVP&R processes.
• DVP and DFMEA training/knowledge.
• Experience validating complex systems.
• Environmental simulation test equipment knowledge (temp chambers, vibration).
• CAN bus knowledge; Vector CAN tools experience (CANoe, CANalyzer).
• Knowledge of comms bus (ETH/CAN/LIN).
• Experience with electrical debugging tools (DMM, oscilloscope).
• Experience with vehicle/system-level validation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Certified problem-solving (DFSS or Green/Black Belt).
• Ability to coordinate testing across global sites.
• Experience with bench testing and scripting (CAPL, Python).

Responsabilidades

• Lead a T&V team to develop core electrical test procedures and harmonize test norms.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure global EE compliance where applicable.
• Review and approve test plans, procedures and reports for complete test coverage.
• Troubleshoot ECUs, System HIL and test environments to minimize false positives.
• Use electrical debugging tools (DMM, oscilloscope, CAN tools) to validate vehicle tests.
