Qualifications

• Five+ years of vegetation management experience.
• ISA Certified Arborist.
• Valid Class C Driver's License.
• TRAQ certification (preferred).
• ISA Utility Specialist certification (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in forestry, arboriculture, or business (preferred).
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• 8 years managing a Utility Vegetation Management program (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs contractor field safety observations and enforces compliance.
• Monitors environmental requirements and drives environmental compliance.
• Facilitates contractor orientation and reviews expectations to reduce wildfire risk.
• Conducts Post Work Verification and assigns rework when quality is not met.
• Provides input to annual work plans and coordinates with stakeholders.
• Investigates tree-related outages and communicates findings to supervision.
• Represents SCE VM with partners, the public, and regulatory agencies.
• Evaluates contractor costs and approves safety and billing docs.
• Supports development of new methods for line clearance and vegetation management.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to align program goals with strategic objectives.
• Safeguards company assets and sensitive information with integrity.
