Southern California Edison (SCE) seeks a Senior Specialist in Vegetation Management & Forestry to lead field operations, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and drive program success across contractors and partners.

Based in Santa Monica with hybrid work options, the role focuses on reducing wildfire risk, coordinating with agencies, and delivering cost-effective vegetation management strategies while traveling up to 70% of the time.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in vegetation management.
• ISA Certified Arborist credential.
• Valid California Class C driver's license.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in forestry, arboriculture, or business.

Responsibilities

• Performs contractor field safety observations and enforces COAs and KPI goals.
• Monitors environmental compliance for field operations and contractors.
• Facilitates contractor orientation and reviews work priorities related to wildfire risk reduction.
• Performs Post Work Verification and assigns rework when quality falls short.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to align on project goals and budgets.
