Job summary

BIM Technology Management (BIMTM) is seeking a Sr VDC Engineer to work remotely within the United States. You will lead 3D BIM model development, coordinate MEP systems, and manage clash detection across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.

Strong BIM expertise and leadership are essential to deliver high-quality construction design. Responsibilities include model creation and maintenance, data management, and collaboration with project teams to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field such as Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 3-5 years of BIM/VDC experience leading MEP coordination for large commercial construction projects.
• Experience supporting GC self-perform trades with BIM workflows is a plus.
• Proficiency with BIM software and related plugins; capable of training others.

Responsibilities

• Model Creation: Lead the development and creation of 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
• Data Entry: Input accurate and up-to-date information into BIM software to reflect current project status.
• Model Maintenance: Regularly update BIM models to reflect design changes and project developments.
• Coordination Lead: Lead the coordination team to resolve clashes and ensure accurate coordination among systems.
• Quality Control: Perform model quality checks adhering to BIM standards and ensure data accuracy.
