Job summary

Alston Construction is seeking a Virtual Design and Construction Manager to lead VDC/BIM delivery across the company\'s projects. The role supports operations, preconstruction, marketing, and construction through VDC/BIM tools and ensures standards are applied from pursuit to closeout.

This position will report to the VDC Director and will manage the VDC team, coordinate project-level resources, and help deploy new technologies in line with company strategy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in commercial and industrial construction.
• Minimum of 5 years as a VDC/BIM professional.
• Proficiency with Navisworks Manage and Revit.
• OSHA 30-hour Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of VDC/BIM services across projects.
• Manage BIM Coordinators and VDC staff, including reviews.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans with Preconstruction teams.
• Coordinate model reviews and clash detection with project teams.
• Support field deployment of 3D scanning, reality capture, and GPS.
• Report progress to the VDC Director and manage budgets.
