Job summary
Balfour Beatty US is seeking a VDC Manager/Senior VDC Manager to lead BIM/technology implementations across pursuit, preconstruction, and operations. You will train teams, enforce BIM standards, and shape how technology adds value on each project.
The role emphasizes leadership in BIM execution, coordination with design partners, and building relationships with customers and subcontractors while staying current with industry advances.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Design or related field.
- 8+ years of experience implementing BIM/technology, operations, 3D MEP coordination, or related roles.
- Experience with team-based delivery, collaboration, contracting, and design-build processes.
- Proficiency with basic PC software (email, Word, Excel, etc.) and BIM-related tools (Procore, Bluebeam).
Responsibilities
- Reviews RFP BIM requirements and leads BIM proposal strategy for responses and presentations.
- Develops BIM execution plans and ensures alignment with project goals.
- Leads BIM in preconstruction workflows and project coordination with teams and subs.
- Maintains BIM knowledge base and develops internal SOPs.
