Job summary

IVIONICS, LLC is seeking a Director of Professional Services to lead our consulting practice and act as senior vCIO for our most strategic clients. You will shape technology strategy, build executive relationships, and oversee a high-performing advisory team.

In this role you will define offerings, govern delivery standards, and drive cross-functional collaboration with sales, managed services, and operations. Strong IT governance and leadership experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in MSP/IT consulting or professional services
• Experience in a vCIO, IT Director, or senior advisory role with enterprise or mid-market clients
• Proven ability to lead and scale delivery teams with measurable outcomes
• Executive-level communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation
• Translate complex tech concepts into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with IT governance, managed services models, and SLA management

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Practice Managers and consulting staff
• Define vision, offerings, and delivery methodology for the consulting practice
• Set performance standards and career development paths for the team
• Drive collaboration across consulting, managed services, sales, and operations
• Serve as senior vCIO for top clients and oversee executive engagements
• Develop roadmaps, business cases, and advisory deliverables aligned to client outcomes
• Lead executive reviews (EBR/QBR) with C-suite stakeholders
• Own P&L and utilization targets for the practice
• Pursue service expansion opportunities within client relationships
