Moser Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced vCIO/Executive Consultant to serve as a senior advisor to client executive teams and to drive IT strategy, governance, and business alignment. You will mentor internal managers, collaborate across four divisions, and guide strategic roadmaps for client IT initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in IT leadership, strong C-suite communication skills, and a track record of delivering value through governance, planning, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT leadership with executive level responsibilities.
• Experience designing and executing IT strategy in complex environments.
• Strong communication and influence with C-suite and boards.
• Experience mentoring IT managers or consultants.
• Proven leadership of service lines within complex organizations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives, participating in IT planning and strategy sessions.
• Lead multi-year IT strategic plans, risk registers, and IT dashboards.
• Facilitate executive workshops to align IT with business goals and compliance.
• Partner with procurement on vendor management and sourcing decisions.
• Collaborate across divisions to design integrated client solutions.
• Mentor Client Solutions Managers on engagement management and development.
• Establish IT governance frameworks, change control, and lifecycle planning.
• Contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers and client briefings.
• Analyze trends and regulatory developments to inform offerings.
• Lead service-line strategic planning and growth opportunities.
• Coordinate with senior leadership to align service lines with company goals.
• Participate in pre-sales scoping and executive presentations.
• Oversee quality assurance for SOWs, IT assessments, and roadmaps.
• Identify opportunities to expand Moser’s role with accounts.
• Provide vCIO services and act as an embedded IT executive.
