Job summary

UCI Health in Orange, CA is seeking a vascular technologist to perform non-invasive vascular exams and vascular ultrasound for adults and pediatric patients. You will prepare patients, position them, operate equipment, and ensure accurate imaging and documentation.

Responsibilities include recognizing abnormal findings, following protocols, training technologists and students, and maintaining records. Hours include holiday rotation, and you must be able to work independently and coordinate with

Qualifications

• RVT certification required.
• ARDMS certification preferred.
• 4+ years of vascular technologist experience in hospital or lab.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Current BLS certification.
• Pediatric ultrasound experience including neonatal heads.
• Ability to perform inpatient and outpatient exams.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of non-invasive vascular exams and vascular ultrasound on adults and pediatric patients.
• Prepare and position patients, adjust equipment, and obtain optimal imaging.
• Rotate to other areas as needed and assist in training technologists, fellows and students.
• Maintain statistics/records and log repairs; provide written impressions to radiologists and vascular surgeons.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and collaborate across Health System.
