Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a qualified Vascular Technologist to perform comprehensive non-invasive vascular exams and general ultrasound when needed. You will prepare patients, optimize imaging, and document findings for radiologists and vascular surgeons.

Inpatients and outpatients will be treated, with holiday rotation and potential cross-coverage within the medical center. Qualifications include RVT, ARDMS (two specialties preferred), BLS, and at least five years as a vascular technologist in a

Qualifications

• Registered Vascular Technologist Certification (RVT)
• ARdMS certification in at least two specialties
• Experience with pediatric ultrasound including neonatal heads
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to perform both inpatient and outpatient exams
• 5 years as vascular technologist in hospital or lab and 2 years in diagnostic ultrasound

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of non-invasive vascular exams and vascular ultrasound.
• Prepare and position patients; operate imaging systems; describe findings for radiologist.
• May rotate to other areas of the medical center; assist in training technologists and students.
