Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a dedicated vascular technologist to perform the full range of non-invasive vascular exams, including Doppler and arterial studies. The role involves adult and pediatric patients, equipment setup, and preparing clear impressions for radiologists and vascular surgeons.

Responsibilities include training technologists and students, maintaining equipment and logs, and supporting standard ultrasound workflows.

Qualifications

• RVT certification and ARDMS certification required.
• 5 years experience as a vascular technologist in a hospital or lab.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with a wide range of vascular exams including NICU and carotid Doppler.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive vascular exams, vascular ultrasound and related Doppler studies.
• Prepare and position patients, operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings.
• Provide written impressions for radiologist and vascular surgeons.
• Assist in training technologists, fellows and students as assigned.
• Maintain equipment and log repairs; manage statistics and records.
