Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center seeks a vascular sonographer (RV T/RVS eligible) to perform basic vascular ultrasound testing, verify physician orders, and review patient records prior to exams.

Applicants must have a CAAHEP vascular sonography program graduate with BLS certification. Competencies include ABI, arterial Doppler, carotid, and aortic exams; final reports are entered into the cardiovascular system. Sign-on and relocation assistance are available.

Competenze

• Graduate of a CAAHEP vascular sonography program or equivalent experience.
• New grads must obtain RVT or RVS credential within one year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.

Mansioni

• Verifies physician's orders and reviews patient records prior to exam.
• Performs basic vascular ultrasound testing according to accredited vascular laboratory protocols, ensures patient comfort throughout exam.
• Recognizes and documents abnormal pathologies according to imaging protocol's as necessary to support diagnosis.
• Provides physician detailed preliminary report.
• Enters measurement data and final report into cardiovascular reporting system
• Ensures equipment is cleaned and functioning in accordance with manufactures guidelines.
• Enters charges into electronic medical record.
