Advocate Health's WFBMG University Group Practice: WFBMC Main - Cardiology: Vascular Laboratory in High Point, NC is seeking a Vascular Sonographer III to verify orders, perform vascular ultrasound tests, and document findings for physician review. Candidates must graduate from a CAAHEP vascular sonography program with RVT/RVS credentials (within a year for new grads) and hold BLS.

The role offers a 40-hour week, 8a-5p schedule with rotating weekends and a $15k sign-on bonus plus relocation

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP vascular sonography program with RVT/RVS credentials.
• New graduates must obtain RVT or RVS credential within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician's orders and reviews patient record prior to exam.
• Performs basic vascular ultrasound testing according to protocols and ensures patient comfort.
• Recognizes and documents abnormal pathologies to support diagnosis.
• Provides physician detailed preliminary report.
• Enters measurement data and final report into cardiovascular system.
• Ensures equipment is cleaned and functioning per manufacturer guidelines.
• Enters charges into electronic medical record.
