Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a vascular sonography technologist to join its imaging team. The candidate must complete a CAAHEP vascular sonography program or have RVT/RVS credentials and maintain BLS certification.

New hires may receive a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and up to $5,000 in relocation assistance, with a requirement to obtain RVT or RVS within one year of hire. This role performs vascular ultrasound testing following lab protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP vascular sonography program or equivalent with RVT/RVS credentials.
• New graduates must obtain RVT or RVS within one year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician orders and reviews patient records prior to exams.
• Performs basic vascular ultrasound testing per lab protocols and ensures patient comfort.
• Identifies and documents abnormal findings to support diagnosis.
• Provides physician with detailed preliminary report.
• Enters measurements and final report into the cardiovascular system.
• Ensures equipment is cleaned and functioning per manufacturers guidelines.
