Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a vascular sonographer to join the High Point University Group Practice: Cardiology vascular lab. The role performs vascular ultrasound testing, documents findings, and ensures timely reporting to support diagnosis.

Applicants must be RVT/RVS-credentialed (or equivalent) with BLS and completion of a approved vascular sonography program; new grads must obtain RVT/RVS within one year. 40-hour weeks, Mon–Fri, with a $38.20–$57.30/hour pay range and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAAHEP vascular sonography program or comparable experience with RVT or RVS credentials required.
• New graduates must obtain RVT or RVS credential within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician's orders and reviews patient record prior to exam.
• Performs basic vascular ultrasound testing according to laboratory protocols.
• Recognizes and documents abnormal pathologies to support diagnosis.
• Provides physician detailed preliminary report.
• Enters measurement data and final report into cardiovascular system.
• Ensures equipment is cleaned and functioning per manufacturer guidelines.
• Enters charges into EMR.
