Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a vascular sonographer for the High Point main cardiology vascular lab. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a 38.20–57.30 USD hourly pay range and benefits eligibility.

New grads must obtain RVT/RVS credentials within one year of hire and BLS certification is required. Relocation assistance up to $5,000 and sign-on bonuses are available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP vascular sonography program or RVT/RVS credentials.
• New grads must obtain RVT/RVS credential within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.
• Competencies include ABI, arterial Doppler, carotid, aortic, saphenous mapping, Exercise ABI, DVT assessment.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician orders and reviews patient records prior to exam.
• Performs basic vascular ultrasound testing per lab protocols.
• Recognizes and documents abnormal pathologies to support diagnosis.
• Provides physician detailed preliminary report.
• Enters measurement data and final report into the cardiovascular system.
• Ensures equipment is cleaned and functioning per manufacturer guidelines.
• Enters charges into the EMR.
