FloWorks is seeking a Manager for Valve Technical Services & Development to lead technical authority on control valves, automation, and field service. The role supports the startup of valve automation facilities across multiple locations and standardizes service practices.

The position emphasizes developing technician capabilities, providing advanced customer support, and coordinating with operations, sales, and leadership to drive quality and expansion in valve services.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED; technical or engineering degree preferred.
• Extensive experience with control valves, valve automation, field service, diagnostics, commissioning.
• Experience leading field-service activities across multiple locations.
• Ability to read P&IDs, drawings, data sheets, customer specs, and test documentation.

Aufgaben

• Serve as a senior subject matter expert for control valves and valve automation.
• Develop and deliver structured training for technicians, sales personnel, and associates.
• Mentor technicians and establish competency standards and training plans.
• Provide customer-facing training on valve operation, maintenance, diagnostics, and automation.
• Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, commissioning, startup, and field service for complex valve applications.
• Assist with planning and startup of valve automation facilities across multiple locations.
• Help standardize assembly, calibration, testing, documentation, and service practices.
• Provide technical support to valve automation operations across service locations.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, engineering, and leadership to evaluate requirements and expansion priorities.
• Review customer specifications and diagnostic results to recommend solutions.
• Develop work instructions, test procedures, and service documentation.
