Job summary

Carrier Fort Worth seeks an experienced Senior Value Stream Manager to own end-to-end performance of a major value stream. You will lead a cross-functional team across shifts, driving safety, quality, delivery and cost while engaging senior operations leadership.

The role reports to site leadership, shaping strategy and advancing Lean maturity toward Plant Manager readiness. Requires 15+ years in manufacturing leadership and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or APICS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Business.
• 15+ years managing manufacturing leadership in large, complex operations.
• 10+ years leading multi-shift manufacturing with hundreds of staff.
• 10+ years owning safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer service metrics.
• 7+ years lean manufacturing and continuous improvement with value stream tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end performance for a major value stream, delivering safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Translate strategy into annual operating plans, capacity and labor priorities.
• Lead multi-layer organization across shifts; build succession and leadership capability.
• Serve on the site leadership team; support Plant Manager decisions and governance.
• Establish Zero Harm culture with standard work and risk management.
• Drive Lean transformation and operating-system maturity through standard work and kaizen.
• Collaborate with Materials, Quality, Engineering, Finance and HR to align demand and capacity.
• Oversee launches, transfers, capacity expansions, and automation projects.
• Manage productivity, labor efficiency, OEE, and cost-out initiatives.
• Lead containment and corrective actions for safety/quality issues.
