Job summary

Allmand, a Generac Company, is seeking a Senior Value Stream Manager to lead a value stream, implementing the Generac Manufacturing System to ensure a safe work environment, quality improvements, and excellent customer experience. You will develop a qualified team, reduce costs and lead times, and drive continuous improvement across daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or related field or 7 years progressive lean/operations experience.
• Experience leading value streams and implementing Lean concepts in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Value Stream in daily operations and continuous improvement activities.
• Create a culture that stops to fix problems to ensure quality first time.
• Design and direct the work of the functional area and develop the team.
• Use PDCA and MDI processes to deliver metric results in people, safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Provide training and cross-training to ensure continuous operation.
• Lead and coordinate New Product Introductions (NPI) within Operations and support standards and strategic initiatives.
