Generac Power Systems Inc. seeks a Value Stream Director to lead operations across the value stream, drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets, and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

You will implement the Generac Manufacturing System (GMS) and coordinate cross-functional teams across sites. In this leadership role, you will shape strategy, develop talent, manage budgets, and guide continuous improvement initiatives, including NPI execution and benchmarking against best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field; 10+ years in manufacturing ops/lean.
• Master’s degree preferred; 5+ years lean implementation experience a plus.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems.
• Proven leadership of diverse cross-functional teams across functions and sites.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily operations across the value stream to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing product flow, implementing pull systems, and leveling workload.
• Develop and coach high-performing teams; manage performance, succession planning, and talent development.
• Design and direct functional area strategy; lead long-range staffing and training programs.
• Coordinate successful New Product Introductions (NPI) within operations and benchmark best practices across sites.
