Motive is seeking a Principal Business Value Consultant to partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering to ensure customers achieve outcomes and drive product adoption and expansion.

You will bridge financial strategy with technical innovation, leveraging AI agents, automation, and data apps to measure value realization at every stage. This role emphasizes ROI-driven outcomes and executive-level storytelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in Value Realization, Value Engineering, Customer Success or Business Value Consulting in high-growth tech/SaaS.
• Hands-on coding, scripting, and building repeatable automation. Familiarity with AI agents and rapid web apps (e.g., Streamlit).
• Master practitioner of business case frameworks using ROI, NPV, IRR, Payback, and TCO.
• Exceptional communication translating software capabilities into C-suite business impact.

Responsibilities

• Validate ongoing customer business outcomes and transform value into measurable adoption and net revenue expansion.
• Build forward/backward-looking ROI and financial scenario models for executive deals and expansions.
• Develop repeatable automations, scripts, and tools for value modeling, ROI tracking, and executive reporting.
