Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana is hiring a Value Based Operations Analyst at the Senior Analyst or Lead Analyst level. You will support value-based, PCMH, and ACO initiatives with cross-functional teams and external vendors to improve implementation, data accuracy, and program performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/CPA preferred.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical and operational requirements.
• Strong organizational, mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with large data sets and data interpretation.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel Pivot Tables.
• Familiarity with healthcare claims processing and value-based program guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical, technical, operational, research, and project management support for value-based initiatives.
• Partner with senior management, IT, actuaries, and vendors to implement value-based strategies.
• Develop methodologies, monitor progress, and ensure accurate data submissions and reporting.
• Research healthcare industry trends and CMS initiatives to drive improvements.
• Operationalize and support BCBSA-mandated initiatives and billing methodologies.
