Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Care & Value Business Analyst to advance value-based care initiatives through operational analysis, program measurement, and governance. You will develop metrics and reporting solutions using SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Excel, translating business questions into actionable insights for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare experience within value-based care, provider operations, or managed care
• Experience with BI tools like SQL, Power BI, Tableau
• Experience developing dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, or performance measurement frameworks
• Experience with data validation, reporting governance, root-cause analysis, and program evaluation
• Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Copilot or similar AI-enabled productivity tools
• Familiarity with value-based care performance models, provider incentives, and / or clinical coding
• Proven solid organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives across multiple teams without direct authority
• Own program processes end-to-end and governance
• Design trusted metrics, dashboards, and reporting solutions
• Translate business questions into data requirements and insights
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across stakeholders
