Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Inc. invites applications for a Value Based Operations Intern. The role focuses on administering and analyzing value-based healthcare programs, with hands-on experience in reimbursement, payment methods, data analysis and process improvement.

The Value Based Operations Intern will support the administration and analysis of value-based healthcare programs. This role provides hands-on experience with alternative reimbursement, payment and billing methodologies, healthcare operations, data analysis, reporting, and process improvement. Working alongside Value Based Operations analysts and business partners, the intern will assist with program performance monitoring, payment and billing reconciliation, reporting, and operational projects that help improve value-based care programs and support business decisions.
Undergraduates and Graduate Level students must be able to work 20 hours/week during the Spring/Fall semesters and 30-35 hours/week during the summer.
