Atlas Search seeks a Valuation Analyst or Associate for its New York City office. You will own the monthly valuation process for a Level 3 portfolio spanning corporate and asset-backed credit, hard assets, loans, and private equity, reporting to senior leadership.

This role demands a quantitative mindset and strong Python/SQL/VBA skills, with ASC 820 experience. Five days per week in the NYC office, with rigorous documentation of methodologies and judgments.

Formación

• 5–10 years in valuation, structured finance, or quantitative modeling.
• Experience valuing asset-backed securities, loans, or private equity.
• Familiar with ASC 820 and Level 3 valuation practices.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with advanced Excel ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Run monthly valuation for Level 3 investments across asset classes.
• Build and calibrate valuation models including DCF, yield analyses.
• Develop assumptions using loan-level and asset-level data.
• Benchmark outputs against third-party valuations and broker quotes.
• Use Python, VBA, SQL, and AI tools to build automated tools.
• Prepare materials for valuation committee and document methodologies.
• Respond to auditor, investor, and diligence requests related to valuation.
