Job summary

Prometheus Federal Services seeks an experienced VA Operations & Program Integration SME to support large-scale transformation within the Veterans Health Administration. You will serve as the connective tissue across government stakeholders, contractors, technology vendors, and implementation teams to ensure initiatives are well-defined and executed successfully.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years in federal healthcare programs preferred.
• 7+ years leading program management or transformation.
• Experience coordinating government/contractor/tech vendor teams.
• Knowledge of VHA operations and healthcare delivery models.
• Experience presenting to senior government leadership.
• Strong business process analysis and requirements mgmt skills.
• Experience developing governance artifacts and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-level program integration across multiple workstreams.
• Establish governance structures and performance reporting frameworks.
• Facilitate collaboration among VHA leadership, contractors, and vendors.
• Analyze current and future-state processes and dependencies.
• Identify operational gaps and develop actionable recommendations.
• Manage requirements gathering and documentation.
• Develop and maintain program artifacts and schedules.
• Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies; drive resolution.
• Coordinate activities across technology and operational initiatives.
• Support acquisition planning and contractor coordination.
• Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with business needs.
• Provide strategic communications and portfolio reporting to leadership.
• Establish metrics to evaluate progress and outcomes.
• Lead stakeholder engagement sessions and workshops.
