Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to lead design initiatives for digital products. The role is remote-first, with concept-based work from Soweto, focusing on intuitive and visually compelling experiences across web and mobile.
You will conduct user research, translate insights into wireframes and prototypes, and define visual design systems. Work with a remote+ team to shape product direction and drive user satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience.
- Strong portfolio with digital product design work.
- Experience with user research and usability testing.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end UX/UI design process from research to high-fidelity visual design.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Create intuitive interfaces for web and mobile aligned with user needs and business goals.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure feasible designs.
- Advocate for user-centered design throughout the product lifecycle.
- Present concepts and rationales to cross-functional teams.
