Job summary

Huge is seeking a Visual Design Lead to steer the visual direction across complex digital products for US remote teams. You will guide the design vision from concept through execution, mentoring designers and upholding high visual quality and accessibility.

In this role, you will collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering to translate goals into cohesive visual solutions, build scalable design systems, and influence stakeholders in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years designing digital products across web, mobile, and responsive platforms.
• Experience leading and mentoring visual design teams and establishing design standards.
• Strong expertise in building, evolving, and maintaining scalable design systems.
• Experience collaborating with Product, UX, and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the visual design direction across digital products, platforms, and experiences.
• Mentor visual designers and provide creative direction throughout the design process.
• Build, evolve, and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
• Translate product goals into cohesive, high-quality visual experiences.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering to balance user needs and business goals.
• Apply systems thinking to detailed UI execution within broader product ecosystems.
• Ensure accessibility, usability, and quality across the experience.
• Lead projects from concept through execution with a consistent visual vision.
• Communicate design decisions and trade-offs to clients and stakeholders.
• Establish design direction and provide constructive feedback for consistency.
• Collaborate effectively in Agile, fast-paced, remote environments.
