Job summary

Depop is seeking a Senior User Researcher to join its UX research team in New York. You will scope, design, and execute studies, then synthesize findings to embed the voice of users into product decisions.

You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to uncover insights that drive a delightful, user-centered product. You'll conduct ethnography, depth interviews, diary studies, surveys, and usability tests, while translating data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end research delivery from gap analysis to disseminating findings.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers and researchers to shape plans.
• Lead research for a product area, selecting appropriate methods.
• Conduct tactical to strategic research including remote interviews and surveys.
• Evaluate information architecture using tree-tests and card-sorts.
• Partner with analytics to augment qualitative insights with quantitative analysis.
• Present findings to inform business decisions and advocate for UX research.
• Mentor and develop junior researchers.
