Job summary

Depop is seeking a Senior User Researcher to help understand users and shape delightful experiences across the product. You’ll scope, design, and conduct investigations and disseminate actionable insights to bring the voice of customers into the organisation.

You’ll work with researchers, designers, product managers, copywriters and analysts, applying ethnography, depth interviews, diary studies, surveys and usability testing to synthesize data into compelling recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end research delivery from gaps to insights.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers and researchers.
• Lead research for a product area, selecting methods to capture insights.
• Conduct remote interviews, surveys and unmoderated research.
• Evaluate information architecture using tree-tests and card-sorts.
• Collaborate with analytics to combine qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Disseminate findings through presentations, workshops or reports.
• Educate and advocate for UX research across the organisation.
• Contribute to team processes and skill development.
• Support growth of junior researchers.
