Job summary

Fivetran is hiring a Senior UX Researcher to join its Product organization in a hybrid role based in Oakland, CA or Denver, CO. You will plan and execute user research, collaborate with design and product teams, and guide research methodologies to inform everyday product decisions.

You will dive into customers’ daily lives, synthesize insights across data products, and lead self-run studies with an entrepreneurial mindset, using AI to plan studies and accelerate feedback loops.

Qualifications

• Requires the ability to plan and manage comprehensive user research programs across product areas.
• Experience leading cross-functional research projects and collaborating with design, product, and analytics teams.
• Proven ability to guide research methodology, framing questions and best practices for studies.
• Ability to identify emerging customer needs to inform new products.
• Strong storytelling and synthesis of research findings to influence decisions.
• Experience conducting mixed-method qualitative and quantitative research.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating impact and research philosophy.
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated with bias toward action and ambiguity.
• Ability to craft engaging presentations for stakeholders.
• Desire to understand users and how product contributes to success.
• Experience using AI to plan studies and synthesize feedback.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute user research programs across focused product areas.
