Fivetran, Inc. is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to join our rapidly growing Product org. The ideal candidate balances research rigor with business focus, leading cross-functional projects and collaborating with design, product, and analytics.

You will dive deep into daily user lives to inform product decisions. You will report to the Director of UX Research in a full-time, hybrid role based in Oakland, CA or Denver, CO, with two days in the office weekly for collaboration.

Qualifications

• Plan, manage, and execute user research programs across product areas.
• Collaborate with design, product, and analytics to align research with stakeholder needs.
• Guide research methodologies and question framing for self-run studies.
• Identify user needs to support new product development.
• Synthesize learnings to tell stories and lead ideation sessions.
• Experience with mixed-method qualitative and quantitative research.
• A portfolio demonstrating impact and research philosophy.
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated mindset with bias toward action.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute on user research programs across product areas.

• Guide product and design on research methodology and question framing.
• Identify emerging customer and user needs to support new products.
• Synthesize learnings from past research and analytics data to tell compelling stories.
• Lead ideation sessions based on research findings.

• Maintain a strong portfolio demonstrating impact and philosophy.
• Lead projects through ambiguity with proactive communication.
• Craft engaging presentations to influence stakeholders.
• Understand users and how the product supports their success.
• Leverage AI to plan studies and synthesize feedback efficiently.
