Fivetran is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to join our Product organization. You will work across focused product areas, leading research that informs daily product design decisions and strategic direction.

The role reports to the Director of UX Research and operates in a hybrid model from Oakland, CA or Denver, CO. You’ll plan and execute research programs, collaborate with design, product, and analytics, and guide teams on research methodology while identifying emerging user needs to support

Qualifications

Experience conducting mixed-method qualitative and quantitative research.
A strong portfolio that demonstrates your work, research philosophy, and impact.
An entrepreneurial, self-motivated mindset with a bias toward action and the ability to lead projects through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and execute on user research programs across focused product areas.
Collaborate with design, product, and analytics to build research projects that align with stakeholder needs as well as user needs.
Guide product and design on the research methodology, question framing, and other best practices for self-run studies.
Identify emerging customer and user needs to support the development of new products.
Synthesize learnings from past research and analytics data to tell compelling stories and lead ideation sessions.
