Job summary

Charles Schwab in Westlake, TX seeks a Senior User Experience Researcher to lead UX research strategy and execution. You’ll partner with product and design teams to uncover user needs and translate them into actionable insights that shape product roadmaps and experiences.

This on-site role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines and rigorous, user-centered problem solving. You will manage research programs, craft schedules, recruit participants, communicate decisions clearly, and elevate

Qualifications

6+ years applying UX research at a tactical level.
Proficiency and comfort running qualitative moderated and unmoderated research studies, and quantitative surveys.
Experience with AI-enabled solutions to streamline UX research tasks and scale analysis.
Effective relationship builder with cross-functional, cross-enterprise collaboration.
Proficient in research tools such as UserZoom and UserTesting, plus project management tools (MS Office, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence).
Ability to translate insights into compelling readout decks with narratives and actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

Set expectations with project teams and align stakeholders on research goals, scope, timelines, and success criteria.
Create and maintain research schedules, recruiting plans, and study logistics for smooth execution.
Communicate status, decisions, tradeoffs, and next steps clearly with project teams and stakeholders.
Review work with UX managers and elevate items appropriately.
