Job summary

Netflix in Montgomery, USA is seeking a Sr. UI/UX Designer to craft compelling player experiences for our video games, from early concept through production.

You will own the user journey, design scalable UI, collaborate with art and engineering, and set UX direction for our titles while maintaining high visual standards. This role also emphasizes rapid prototyping, critique, and storytelling through UI.

Qualifications

• Capability to visualise and present UX in an interactive layout.
• Ability to manage multiple duties and be self‑directed to meet cut‑off dates.
• Professional competencies in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Caricature, Invision).
• Strong artistic background in traditional arts, sketching, or related disciplines.
• Background competent in image layout or similar training and schooling.
• Experience delivering at least three video games.
• Obsessed with critique, comments, and generation.
• Excellent communication skills – able to express thoughts clearly and correctly.
• Self‑starter who locates answers and asks questions when needed.
• Attention to detail and a preference for creating first‑rate narrative video games.
• Leadership qualities, creating a sturdy sense of purpose and community, establishing a tradition of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire personal experience of our video games from blue‑sky concepts to UX specifications to polished UI designs.
• Design UI/UX wireframes for prototyping and user flow creation.
• Build UI structures that can scale in manufacturing, proudly owning them from concept to delivery.
• Recommend trends and best practices in UI/UX for video games; serve as the subject‑matter professional on all things UX.
• Collaborate throughout studio disciplines to explore, test, and evolve our video games.
