Qualifications

• Has shipped multiple games in a level-design centered role.
• Deep understanding of level design theory and practice, esp. MOBA/ARPG.
• Proficient with Unreal, Unity, Maya, and related tooling.
• Experience laying out levels using Photoshop and Miro.
• Familiar with procedural env generation tools (Houdini, Gaea).
• Comfortable working in a cross-functional, multidisciplinary team.
• Clear, purposeful communication and proactive contribution.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and emphasize large, convincing interactive spaces from initial block-in to final layout in Solidarity.
• Populate regions in-game with destructible, interactive systems and NPCs.
• Maintain and develop technical guidelines for level design.
• Collaborate with engineers to build a fast iteration pipeline for level design.
• Collaborate with teammates through creative feedback and clear objectives.
• Assist with project planning to help the team meet achievable goals.
