Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience structuring UI in UMG and creating widget Blueprints with Unreal Engine.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong UI design skills and asset creation.
• Deep understanding of game mechanics and player motivations, and how UI design supports them.
• Knowledge of the interaction between design decisions and code; awareness of performance and timelines.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to convey technical details to programmers and non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead UI design, asset creation, and in-engine implementation for a relaxed, multi-platform MMO.
• Create high-quality, stylized UI assets that match the in-game 3‑D environment.
• Collaborate with art direction and level design to improve visual quality and usability.
• Maintain and improve a pipeline for authoring stylized UI assets for the 3‑D environment.
• Assemble UI assets into UMG widgets and use Blueprint to create standardized components.
• Communicate progress and status with teammates via Slack, Meet, and email.
