Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. UX Designer to define the vision for leadership-focused talent tools, driving AI-native interfaces in a field with undefined requirements. You will lead senior-level collaborations, shape interaction patterns, and raise the design bar across teams.

You will coach juniors, create design guidelines, and partner with engineers, researchers, and scientists to accelerate innovation and decision-making at Amazon.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of design experience.
• Have an available online portfolio.
• Experience with best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design.
• Experience in life cycle design projects from design strategy through execution.

Responsibilities

• Set UX vision and influence the strategic product roadmap.
• Develop working prototypes to learn and fail fast.
• Facilitate work sessions with executive leaders.
• Own the design of end-to-end product experiences and features.
• Lead design through all phases of the product development lifecycle, from discovery to launch.
• Champion human-centered design culture.
• Drive creative process and collaboration with cross-functional partners to propose new ideas and strategies.
• Model behavior that exemplifies Amazon Leadership Principles in their team and raises the design bar for the organization.
• Provide coaching and feedback, with an emphasis on growing junior designers into future leaders.
• Create and drive adoption of design guidelines, mechanisms, best practices, process, and tools.
