Job summary

Twitch is seeking a Senior UX Designer for the Monetization Team in San Francisco to lead program-level design, mentor juniors, and collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers. You will engage with streamers and viewers to inform experiences that help monetize and sustain communities.

Hands-on research, collaboration with engineers, and a human-centered design philosophy are essential, including applying AI tooling to design workflows and prototyping mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of practical experience in UX design with an emphasis on content discovery and/or content engagement experiences.
• Demonstrated interaction design and visual craft skills including experience with prototyping mobile experiences.
• Experience incorporating AI tooling as part of design workflows.
• Experience streaming, working with broadcasting software and/or creating UGC content.
• Collaboration with designers, researchers, PMs and engineers.
• Ability to impact product strategy and roadmaps.
• Strong aesthetic sense and decisive judgment.
• Empathy for users and user-centered design approach.
• Proficiency with Figma

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a cross-functional development team of product managers, engineers, and designers.
• Learn from streamers and viewers about how they use our services and their desires to accomplish more.
• Think creatively about solving problems to sustain streamer communities.
• Contribute to design patterns and approaches used by the team.
• Combine qualitative and quantitative data to develop hypotheses about customer motivations and improve designs.
• Present work in design reviews and feedback sessions.
• Mentor and grow junior designers and promote best practices.
