Job summary

Amazon’s AWS Kiro team seeks a Senior UX Designer to shape experiences across Kiro Crew, IDE, CLI, Web and Mobile surfaces. You will lead concept framing, ecosystem mapping, user stories, and end-to-end design, while collaborating with product, engineering, and leadership to advocate for developers and deliver tangible improvements.

You thrive in ambiguous spaces, define problem spaces, prototype across fidelity levels, and mentor juniors.

Qualifications

7+ years of design experience.
A portfolio showing audience understanding and early-stage design thinking.
Experience designing complex, multi-step workflows across platforms.
Experience designing AI-enabled products with meaningful autonomy.
Proficiency with multiple prototyping tools and methods.

Responsibilities

Go deep on audience understanding to build mental models of developers.
Lead concept design, ecosystem maps, user stories, journey frameworks.
Own end-to-end design for major features across IDE, CLI, Web, Mobile, and Kiro Crew.
Shape UX of agentic workflows including spec-driven development and verification.
Iterate rapidly and prototype at appropriate fidelity across formats.
Design cohesive experiences across desktop, terminal, browser and mobile.
Partner with product and engineering to influence strategy with design rationale.
Mentor junior designers and define scalable design patterns.
