Job summary

Amazon Seattle seeks a Senior UX Designer for the Design Systems team within People Engagement Experience (PEX). You will own components, patterns and style libraries across desktop and mobile, guiding strategy with designers and engineers to deliver scalable, accessible design system solutions.

Lead AI-powered design tool initiatives, document standards, and mentor junior contributors while collaborating with product managers across domains.

Qualifications

7+ years of design experience.
Proficiency in Figma with variants, auto-layout, component properties, and library management.

Responsibilities

Own components, patterns, and templates for product experiences across desktop and mobile; ensure they are scalable and accessible.
Collaborate with designers and engineers to design and implement high-quality, scalable additions to the design system, including AI-powered features.
Create and maintain documentation describing the standards and best practices of our component library as a reference for designers, developers, and product teams.
Define and champion how AI-powered design tools are adopted across the team to accelerate component creation and documentation while maintaining design quality.
Provide coaching and feedback, with an emphasis on growing junior Independ ent Contributors and leadership capability.
Dive deep with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand how they serve customers.
