Avangrid, a major energy company, seeks a Senior UX Designer to join the Processes and Systems team. You will map customer interactions, lead design efforts, and drive end-to-end UX improvements across multiple platforms, ensuring customer satisfaction and trust within Avangrid brands.

You will partner with designers and stakeholders, deliver compelling journeys, and advocate for user needs while aligning with design systems and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in UX/CX or product design.
• Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with accessibility best practices and WCAG 2.2 standards.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Principal UX Designers and Junior Designers to lead team activities.
• Execute product design activities in agile teams with wireframes, prototypes, and UX copywriting.
• Define experience strategies with stakeholders to meet business goals.
• Break down features into user stories and provide detailed design before acceptance.
• Collaborate with researchers and leaders to test and optimize the end-to-end experience.
