Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead AI-powered learning experiences across our K–12 virtual platforms. You will drive end-to-end design, framing problems, conducting research, prototyping, and validating high-fidelity experiences for hundreds of thousands of learners.

You will partner with Product Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, and UX Research to translate insights into intuitive, accessible product experiences, shaping strategy and contributing to the design system.

Qualifications

7+ years of UX design experience with end-to-end ownership of shipped products.
Experience with usability tests and mixed-method research.
Experience designing for AI-powered product features (conversational interfaces, adaptive systems, ML-driven recommendations).
Bachelor’s degree welcomed; candidates from various backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end product design from user flows to high-fidelity designs.
Design AI-powered experiences including conversational interfaces and adaptive learning flows.
Ensure accessibility and WCAG 2.2 compliance from the start.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Analytics, and UX Research.
Contribute to the shared design system and maintain consistent interactions.
