Job summary

Amazon Payment Acceptance & Experience Design Team is seeking a Sr. UX Designer to drive end-to-end payment experiences across devices, collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver best-in-class solutions.

You should be comfortable prototyping at varying fidelities, leveraging AI tools in research, ideation, and delivery, and translating complex problems into simple interfaces that delight users.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience.
• Online portfolio or samples on resume demonstrating end-to-end, user-centered design across desktop and mobile.
• Experience delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Use business requirements, usability findings, and market research to develop scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate research synthesis, design exploration, and iteration.
• Continuously adopt emerging AI capabilities into your design workflow to increase speed and quality of output.
• Develop and nurture relationships across teams to promote collaboration and efficiency.
• Translate abstract concepts into simple and elegant user interfaces.
• Present design work to the UX and product teams for review and feedback.
• Iterate on multiple design explorations to arrive at robust solutions for complex requirements.
• Manage your own work queue, time, and deadlines; communicate needs and tradeoffs when schedules are tight.
• Understand target users through user research and drive data-informed design.
