Job summary

Verily Health is seeking a Senior UX Accessibility Lead to embed within our UX organization to shape inclusive, accessible precision health experiences across web, mobile, and AI-native products. Reporting into UX and partnering with Engineering, Product, and AI/ML, you will define accessibility standards and ensure our AI-powered solutions go beyond compliance.

You will lead strategy, establish evaluation frameworks, mentor teams, and scale accessibility across complex products through design

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in product design, interaction design, UX research, accessibility, or a related discipline.
Deep expertise in accessible interaction design and WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA, including screen readers and keyboard/focus behavior.
Ability to design and evaluate accessible AI-powered experiences, including conversational and multimodal interfaces.
Strong accessibility evaluation and inclusive usability research skills.
Ability to scale accessibility across products through design systems and cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

Lead accessibility strategy across the UX organization by embedding inclusive design principles and standards.
Define inclusive AI interaction patterns and evaluation frameworks for multimodal experiences.
Partner with UX Research to validate designs with assistive technology users and people with disabilities.
Establish accessibility standards and documentation within the design system for engineering handoffs.
Educate and mentor cross-functional teams to elevate accessibility maturity.
