Job summary

Exelon Corporation is seeking a management level attorney to handle state utility regulatory matters and supervise a team of attorneys and paralegals. The role provides high-quality legal services to electric and gas operating utilities within the region.

You will advise executives, engage with regulators and outside counsel, and lead budgeting and strategic projects aligned with corporate goals while supporting risk management and business objectives.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent, licensed to practice in relevant jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of utility regulatory matters and base rate cases.
• Experience supervising attorneys and staff in complex matters.

Responsibilities

• Advises on all aspects of utility regulatory matters and counsels executives.
• Represents PECO before agencies, outside counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Manage career development and evaluations for legal staff.
• Prepare budgets and matter assessments involving outside counsel.
• Lead significant projects as directed by General Counsel.
