Exelon is seeking a management-level attorney to provide strategic legal leadership, advocacy, and compliance related to regulatory litigation and policy for DE/NJ markets. The role supports DPL, ACE, PHI, and PHI, with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule and a requirement to commute within the Newark, DE area.

Qualifications

• An LLB or JD from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in one PHI jurisdiction (NJ, DE, MD or DC). At least 12 years of professional experience.
• Extensive knowledge of courts, regulatory agencies and other applicable legal entities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the legal field to complete complex assignments.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic and legal direction on regulatory litigation.
• Represent DPL, ACE, PHI and Exelon with outside counsel, government agencies and other parties.
• Mentor attorneys and paralegals; supervise staff.
• Prepare budgets and early matter assessments for matters involving outside counsel.
• Improve delivery of legal services for NJ and DE regulatory litigation.
• Perform significant projects as assigned by the General Counsel.
