Job summary

Exelon is seeking a management level attorney to oversee all legal services related to state utility regulatory matters for PECO and related units. The role provides high‑quality counsel and supervises a team of attorneys and paralegals.

The successful candidate will guide officers and executives, oversee budgets and outside counsel, and contribute to strategic company objectives in a complex regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• LLB or JD from an accredited law school.
• At least 12 years of professional experience and recognized distinction in a specialty practice.
• Extensive knowledge of courts, regulatory agencies and other legal entities.

Responsibilities

• Advises clients on utility regulatory matters and provides guidance to executives on legal issues.
• Represents PECO before outside law firms, government bodies, agencies and other stakeholders as assigned by the General Counsel.
• Manages and develops the careers of attorneys and staff, with performance evaluations.
