Job summary

Southeastern Surveying and Mapping Corp. is seeking a Utility Project Manager to lead utility mapping projects in Chipley, FL and nearby areas. You will oversee client interfaces, scope projects, schedule work, manage procurement, and monitor costs and progress to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 3–5 years in infrastructure project management, knowledge of municipal utilities, and strong communication skills. MicroStation experience and a PMP are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or higher with experience in managing infrastructure projects.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of municipal construction, standards, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all utility project activities within budget and schedule.
• Manage change orders, client approvals, and scope adjustments.
• Prepare bids and estimates aligned with profit objectives.
• Develop project scopes of work and communication tools for field and office teams.
• Ensure QA/QC on final products before client submission.
• Coordinate with other divisions and external agencies.
• Set up comprehensive project files, work orders, and forms.
• Create long-term schedules reflecting project timelines and scope.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to field staff and training as needed.
• Support marketing and client relationship development.
