Job summary

Consor is hiring a Utility Engineer in Houston to coordinate utility relocation efforts for major transportation projects. You will act as the liaison between design teams, contractors, and utility providers to optimize schedules and minimize costs.

The role requires a PE license, experience in utility coordination, and proficiency with MicroStation or ORD. Physical requirements include outdoor work and lifting up to 35 lbs; a valid driver''s license is needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in CM, Civil, Environmental or related engineering.
PE license required.
Experience in Utility Coordination.
Ability to read construction plans and specs.
Proficient in MicroStation or ORD software.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Outdoor work may occur in adverse conditions; physical demands up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain utility conflict matrices to manage sequencing.
Collaborate with design engineers to identify and minimize utility conflicts.
Draft and manage utility agreements between owners and clients to ensure alignment.
Maintain detailed utility correspondence logs and track due dates.
Monitor project tracking charts to keep relocations on schedule.
Identify risks and recommend mitigation to protect schedules and budgets.
